Sophie Mei shot to bellydancing stardom when she reached the semi-finals of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent with Simon Cowell declaring she has “absolute star quality” and in response to her Belly Dance Show he said, “you could take that performance anywhere in the world.” She has been bellydancing for 18 years and has performed and taught belly dance classes, workshops and parties across the globe. Sophie is so passionate about the art of bellydancing that she even made a documentary for ITV on Bellydancing in Egypt.
